Why do I lose dollar credit when I spend my q-points?

If you are new to Qeep, it might be confusing that spending q-points will affect your dollar account. There is a simple explanation for it though:

Your Qeep dollars are always also displayed as q-points.

Let us explain this in a few examples:
1.) when your account shows $0 and 1.000 q-points, then you have 1.000 q-points
If you buy a gift for 500 q-points, you will have 500 q-points left.

2.) when your account shows $1 and 2.000 q-points, then you have 1.000 q-points and $1 that is also displayed as q-points.
If you buy a gift for 500 q-points, you will have $1 and 1.500 q-points left.

3.) when your account shows $1 and 1.500 q-points, then you have 500 q-points and $1 that is also displayed as q-points.
If you now buy a gift for 1.000 q-points, you will have $0,50 and 500 q-points left on your account.

This is because from the displayed 1.500, only 500 q-points are real q-points. The other 1.000 q-points are actually your dollar credit. In order to pay the gift, the 500 q-points are used and additionally a part from your Dollar credit.
